Ellesmere Island

Each of these ranges has relatively low elevation, with many glaciers. The peaks are straightforward climbs for anyone with moderate snow and ice experience. The two most prominent peaks top 8,000 feet: Barbeau Peak (8,583 ft./2616 m) and Mount Whistler (8.497 ft/ 2,590 m).
