Mount Gilbert

We did the ice chute car-to-car but it took a very long time [I wasn't acclimated and moved slowly higher up]. We summited after sunset then wandered around to the east trying to find the proper descent. We ended up lowering off a 220' cliff with a 200' rope. I got back to my parked car in Bishop at 3 am where I shivered [15 degs. F] until dawn.
