Mount Kenya

We hiked to Met Station via Noro Moro on Friday, Sabbath we did a short hike to get used to the altitude. Sunday we hiked up the Talek valley to Mackinders Camp and then early Mon morning we left for the summit. I was in the back of our group so I saw the sunrise from the scree slope but it was still beautiful. Unfortuatly some of our group was slow coming off the mountain so we didn't get back to Met station until 2 am Tuesday morning. Wow I was tired. But am already looking forward to doing it again next year.
