Aiguille De Rochefort

This peak has a wonderful scenary, wievs of it and surroundings. From the refugio Torino (3338), the climb is easy at the beginning, up to the Dent du Geant (2 hours,3850 m.). Once you reach the Crete, past the Dent, the snow makes the passage not suitable for beginners, even if there is a path in it from other climbers, as very frequently happens.Both sides show impressive falls of hundred of meters. We needed a rope in a passage of 50º and 15 m. plenty of ice , which delayed us a lot. If you are not experienced, you will need at least 6-7 hours to reach the summit, after the final rock climb (80 m).
