There are countless false summits that lead you to believe that you are there - the trail has a constantly wonderful view to at least 1 side, but it is long, and somewhat discouraging as you make your way up the false summits. As I descended, I was caught in a sudden thunderstorm above tree line. You must be very cautious as to avoid them, as this is a VERY exposed trail.
