Description
Mount Kerkeslin is located in the Athabasca River Valley of Jasper National Park. Kerkeslin is situated midway between two featured attractions of Jasper Park: Mount Edith Cavell to the west on the opposite side of the valley, and Maligne Lake to the east. It is the highest summit in the Maligne Range and is a prominent mountain viewed from the scenic Icefields Parkway (Highway 93). Mount Kerkeslin is also very prominent as the photographic backdrop southeast of Athabasca Falls.
