Description

This peak provides an excellent view of Amethyst lake from the peak. It is ascended easily from the South East slope. This peak is not heavily traveled as it is located approximately 18km from the trail head.

To get to the peak turn West off of highway 93 onto the Mt. Edith Cavell road. Park at the Mt. Edith Cavell hostel and take the Astoria River Trail. Turn right and ascend toward Oldhorn mountain (~10km from trial head). Mt. Clitheroe will be located North of the trail ~3km from the fork in the trail.
