Description
Pyramid Peak is the highest point in the Crystal Range, a sub Range of the Sierra Nevada. It is located on the west side of Desolation Valley in the Lake Tahoe area. 9,993' elevation sometimes shown over 10,000' on older maps. The sleeping carins on top may have added a few feet. Can be climbed from any direction, usually from the West up Lyons Creek to Lake Sylvia.
