Description
Mt Spurgeon (1327m) is on the Mt Carbine Tableland West of Mossman Gorge in North Queensland. The exact height of the peak is unclear due to its remote location however it is among the highest in Queensland.
Google Earth suggests that Nearby Mt Carbine may be 1378m making it the third highest peak in Queensland. This is a rugged wet and little explored region with 4WD tracks and old mines.
