Nevado de Colima

I was at about the 12,000 foot level of the peak working an a long-term dendrochronology project with the University of Nevada, Reno, and took the morning off to climb up to the summit via the ruta normal. From just below the Proteccion Civil establishment, it took about 2 hours to summit. Spectacular view from here, with the trmendous vertical relief offered.
