Galdhøpiggen

Set off early to avoid crowd if you climb in the summer and start from the Spiterstulen - you can be sure you will meet a lot of people ascending Galdhoppigen on your way back. Easy route but quite poorly marked, you do not need to worry about it after about an hour of so as the way gets easy to find and the peak becomes visible. No need for an ice axe (summer climb), walking poles advisable. Quite difficult to get lost (provided the weather is fine). Do not attempt to leave the route as you can end up somewhere on the glacier which can be fatal. A very nice view from the top!
