I was able to make it to the summit of this beast on 2 out of 6 attempts. Weather was the main reason for being turned around 4 times. The trail is fairly easy, but very long. I think its a little over 16 miles, round trip. After the keyhole there is exposure to heights and the elements. There are many inexperienced hikers on the trail, and many people on the trail all together. But over all it is an extremely beautiful hike with many different ecosystems that you pass through. Beware of lunch-stealing, yellow bellied marmots at the top.
