Description
This peak makes up part of the Northen boarder along the Carson Iceburg Wilderness boundry. Located in the Northeast cornor of the bowel which makes up Pacific Valley (Off Hwy 4), the best approach for a summit bid is from the Northwest. A faint trail leds to the summit after ~1 mile of cross country travel. On the summit a sign in log placed by the Sierra Club is located under a small cairn. Total elevation gain for this peak is ~1900 feet in the last mile with a hike of 6-8 miles to reach the mountain. (start evelation ~7400 feet). This peak is one of a triple that can be summited in a long days hike.
