Mount Mitchell

I took the very wet and overgrown Mt. Mitchell trail up to the summit. The 5.6 mile trail is not easy, but was reasonable with no part of the trail being excessively steep. At the summit the highest mountains were all clearly visible, while the low mountains were shrouded in clouds. Mt. Mitchell is far more isolated than what I thought it would be for a tourist mountain. We only saw two people on the trail the entire time.
