Mount Adams

Climbed from the South. Early in season. Went toward West? to avoid heavy snow fields. Climbed loose pummice (up two steps down one). At summit sat on part of the old lookout. We drank a bottle of wine and ate some pickled herring. St. Helens erupted while we were coming down. Looked like smoke from a forest fire in the valleys below. Lost my camera when I forgot to put it back in my pack. Horrible access road.
