Description
Highest Peak in Contra Costa County. Boasts second greatest viewshed of any peak (behind Mt. Kilimanjaro). Contains several cascades which flow during the rainy season. Hot and dry in the summer months. Various summit routes from base offer easy to somewhat difficult approaches to summit. Paved access to obvservation and interpretive center.
