Haramosh Peak

- Photo by rashid aliIn between lake and peak there exists Glacier whose width is nearly 3km.At the basement of peak a small forest called Gungletamo where the people leave goats for three months.This peak is also seen from Gilgit city which is nearly 100km away from this peak.It is seen from Gilgit if someone looks to the East.It is taken from "Siralat" near to kutwal lake.I took this photo in 2007 when i had done my F.Sc.

- Photo by Rashid Ali Khoja, uploaded by rashid aliThis is photo of Haramosh Sassi Sumari taken from Kutwal.It is the highest peak at Haramosh.It is covered with snow throughout the year.Its height is 7409m.it was taken by me when i had passed my F.Sc exam in 2007.It was summer season.I went to meet my Cousins at Kutwal where they live only for 4 months.After there is extreme cold and to live there is to commit suicide.

- Photo by Rashid Ali Khoja, uploaded by rashid aliIt is the photo of Sassi Sumari a 7409m height peak at Karakuram Ranges.It is taken from Gilgit city.I am on the mountain which is nearby to my home at Khomar Gilgit.The peak is not fully visible due to clouds.I pointed it with red colour dot,at the right top of the photo.It is very far from Gilgit city besides it is clearly visiblen on a clear day.Whenever sun sets att Gilgit,it is the highest peak which get sun ray. The other peak which is at mid top is Rakaposhi.It was taken by my freind Karrar Hussain on 25 September 2007

- Photo by Rashid Ali Khoja, uploaded by rashid aliThis is a Google Photo prepared by me.This is the photo for visiters of revelent peak to help them to find the peak.The arrow to Skardu and Gilgit at photo show the main Gilgi-Skardu road.Anyone can come from Skardu and Gilgit get their path from there.He has to go Dache through red line by a jeep.After reaching Dache ,he has to reach peak by foot.It is a distance of 5 Hours by foot.

- Photo by rashid aliIt is the photo of Haramosh Peak.It is taken from the main Gilgit-Skardu Baltistan road.It is taken at Ansar Camp known as Shoot Nalla Haramosh.It is clearly visible at that place.When sun set down,it is the only peak in Gilgit Heramosh which get the last ray of the sun.It is taken by me with my Samsung X700 mobile.It took this photo on 25 june 2008 when i visited Haramosh and Gilgit in my summer vication from UET Balochistan.It must be remembered that i was in 2nd Year.
