Mount Romulus

  The southeast aspect of Mount Romulus from Mount Glasgow. The scrambling route up Romulus starts at the base of the southwest shoulder (lower left) of the mountain, then goes up a large gully system that is not visible to gain the saddle between the left end of the cliff face and the orange colored ridgeline that forms the west aspect of Romulus. From the saddle it generally follows near the cliff face to the summit. However, it is clear that most of the southeast aspect would make for a good probable line of ascent to gain the saddle if you want to leave the Little Elbow Trail early and ford the Elbow River. The pyramid shaped summit of Fisher Peak can also be seen directly behind the flat summit of Romulus.
