Description

El Águila is a prominent and very nice peak of the venezuelan Andes. A scramble leads to the summit from its eastern face. Look for the dirt road to Laguna de Los Guaches (passing Pico El Aguila, now called Collado del Condor). As you see the peak take to the the right side and up a scree slope to reach the eastern face. There is a small metal cross up there.

Nice shots!
