Hangerer

Description

A very nice walk without any special difficulties. The mountain surface is mostly stones and gravel. There is a very beautiful panorama from the top. Please note that the top is quite airy from the backside, so you should be careful if the visibility is limited.

Hohe Mut bahn takes you to middle station 2064m. You first walk to Schönwieshutte (2266) where the footpath to Hangerer Mountain starts. It takes about 2-2,5 hrs to walk up to the top, and 1,5 hrs back.

The mountain is also suitable for experienced kids over 7 years (note the steep peak!)
