Description

Mahadev Mountain peak lies near the capital city (Srinagar) of Indian Administered Kashmir.It is behind the famous Zabarwan mountains near the World famous Dal Lake.It can be climbed from many routes.Main route to this Mountain peak is from Dachigam - Harwan.Famous Tarsar & Marsar lakes lie on the eastern side of this Mountain.This Mountain peak is visible from almost all parts of Srinagar and also from the Saffron town Pampore

Advisory for Hikers : Register yourselves or your group with Jammu-Kashmir Police at Harwan Police Station & after that inform Indian army deployed at Dhara before starting the trip.
