Description
The Curavacas is the highest peak of the Fuentes Carrionas Massif, and is located in the northern part of the Palencia province. This peak is constituted by conglomeratic rocks and rises more than 1000 m above the Carrion river valley. At the base of the north side is situated the Pozo Curavacas lake, the starting point of the normal route.
