Description
Ben Lomond is a large plateau to the east of the city of Launceston. The highest point, Legges Tor is the second highest peak in Tasmania. Unusually for the state, Ben Lomond does not have an abundance of glacial lakes.
A small ski resort with seven lifts ensures year round access and Legges Tor is easily climbed from the ski village.
