Description

Volcan Mountain rises over 5000 feet with the highesst point recorded as 5709 feet in these mountains. The Volcan Mountain Summit is accessible by the 5 Oaks Trail and also Fire road. The summit along the trail is located approximately at 5300 feet. the town of Julian is closeby with Anza Borrego desert lying beyond the mountains towards the east side.
