Description
Easiest route is from Stoikite village close to Pamporovo ski resort. From here it is a 6 km road walk to a path which leads close to the summit (Momchil Novak). Can be approached via north, south or west side.
Snow free for about 8 months of the year. From the summit there are views to the nearby Bulgarian town of Smolian and also into Greek territory.
