Description
Pointes de Tsavolire (3026 m) can be reached following 5-6 routes from nearby valleys Val d’Herens, Val de Moiry and Val d’ Annivers. In all cases one should follow the signs either to Becs de Bosson hut (2983 m) or Pas de Lona (2787 m). From the hut it is only some 20 minutes walk to the summit. Technically a very easy 3000er though with long access routes in beautiful landscapes and with great views. The highest altitude approach by car is to the Moiry lake dam (2250 m) above Grimentz. More details are available at the Becs de Bosson mountain site. From the summit views towards many mountains over 4000 meters including Mont Blanc in the west. It can be climbed in combination with the nearby Becs de Bosson (3149 m).
