Breithorn

Our experience in climbing the Breithorn was one of spectacular scenery, perfect weather, and pure enjoyment. We climed the Traverse in order to gain experience climbing rock with crampons, in preparation to climb the Matterhorn. Climbing the traverse was remarkable: Plenty of exposure, excellenct learning opportunity, and the same perfect conditions. Climbing the Matterhorn was wonderful, but for pure fun, I recommend the Breithorn traverse to those seeking true adventure without the expense in time and money required to climb the Matterhorn.
