Acatenango

Only went to the north peak and that took 4.5 hours. Very steep, relentless climb in thin air. Spectacular all round although need to start very early to avoid mid-morning cloud.

Met a remarkable number of locals descending from 7am onwards who'd spent Saturday "on the town" up there. Very cold!
