We made our first climb the day Chris went missing. Also you can find the names of the crew of the US aircraft that crashed at the www.pacificwrecks.com site.

Both climbs were memorable. In 72 we started for the summit at 3:00 AM. There was a full moon and we climbed by moonlight. One could see for miles by the light of the morning moon. I have a treasured photo of the full moon setting towards the ridge line across the lakes.

Planning a final climb this year!
