Monte Rosa

Embarked on a five day climb starting at the Breithorn. We slept in the Italian huts, ascending a little further each day. We covered Castor, Naso, Vincent Pyramide, Parrotspitz and Signalkuppe, spending our last evening in the Margarita Hut at 4500m. Both Karen and I suffered from AMS for most of the trip, wishing we had packed some Diamox, or stronger headache tablets. We walked out across the Gornergletcher to gornergrat and back to Zermatt by the railway.
