Kongur

Anyone interested should read a short report in High Mountain December 2004 issue, Page 14. "Kongur climberd again" reporting the third ascent of the peak in Aug by a Russian team from St Petersburg via a route from the North, from Gez. The second ascent was in 1989 from the E. Karayalak Gl. by a Japanese team. The Bonnington route has not been repeated yet. Jim Milledge, member Kongur 1981 exped.
