Mount Ida

My husband and I climbed Mt. Ida on a whim. I know that sounds really dumb to an experienced hiker, but God does watch over fools. We started out intending on only go a short distance, but kept going higher and higher. The day was beautiful, but as we gained altitude the wind began gusting over 70 mph. I was overcome with dizziness from the altitude and stopped before getting to the summit, but my husband made it all the way to the top. We saw elk, marmot, and sheep, but unfortunately did not get any photographs. We didn't bring extra film and ran out before we got half way up the mountain. If anyone be willing to share their photographs of the summit with us? I can't wait to go back next summer and do it all over again. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
