Thabana Ntlenyana

I visited Thabana Ntlenyana (while doing survey work for the British government) very nearly fifty years ago (25 February 1954)and measured its height with a theodolite. I also gave the mountain its name (ntlenyana means "rather beautiful" and thabana means "smallish mountain" in Sesotho). The first atlas it appeared in was the mid-century edition of The Times Atlas.
