Mount Whitney

We started the ascend from a parking lot at the base of the mountain at about 6 a.m. The weather was perfect, we had little snowcover on the way up. Reached the top around 2-3 pm, had a rest and took some summit photos, then continued with 16 more km-s back to the van.

It was a rather long trip and 2000 meters vertical climb. We were dead tired when reached the car at around 9 p.m.

Recommend the trip to anyone. Great exciting hike with pretty sights.
