Acatenango

This volcano is my favorite place on the earth. I climbed at least a 100 times since 1994.

But, I fail my 3 first times to intent to get the summit. I was a terrible physical condition, so was so hard to me. Once intent was interrupted by military groups (Guatemala was in war until 1995)

Finally in july 1996 in my fourth intent, I finally get the summit and my life changed since that day. I love this volcano, and one recommend hike is to climb both volcanoes Fuego and Acatenango at once.
