Aiguille Verte

Set off from warm (but smelly) bivi in Grand Montets toilets at 1am and summited at about 9am via the Couturier Couloir. The couloir is massive - it goes on for ever! After an amazing climb the descent was a nightmare. The Whymper was out so we used a heavily snowed up Moine ridge - it took ages and we finally collapsed in the Couvercle Hut about 10 hours after summiting - a very long day!
