Aiguille Verte

Ascended by the South Spur of the Grandes Rocheuses, using a right-hand start to totally avoid things falling from the Whymper Couloir. The spur was lovely, solid and not too hard (III). The ridge to the summit is one of the most classic in the Alps, and the summit - my 15th 4000er - a real cracker. Don't get lost on the way down the Moine ridge!
