Mount Princeton

We hiked Mt. Princeton from the Frontier Ranch trailhead (8,900 ft) starting at 5:45 a.m. on Mar. 16, 2001. The day was beautiful until snow came in around noon. Progress was slow for us once past the 12,200 ft. mark because of new snow on the talus. Frank and I summitted at 2:30 p.m. and got back to the car at 6:30 p.m. It was a long day but great. The route is obvious, straight forward and safe from avalanches if you stick to the east ridge above treeline. Pictures and information are posted at my printroom.com website listed here.
