Excellent hike with fantastic view from the top. Climb steadily becomes steeper and rockier as one ascends, which is particularly helpful when more tired on the descent.

It is strenuous at times, but our 10,9 and 6 year old children were able to not only summit Algonquin, but also go on to Iroquois and back.

Highly recommended!
