Mount Keen

I'm asthmatic, so the walk in to the Queens Well left me a bit knackered, even before my brother, his wife, and myself attempted The Ladder.

By the time we gained the ridge for the longish drag to the first of the three summits, we were already quite tired.

The summits themselves were a bit easier, because we had to use our hands to pull ourselves up the rocks, but it was all worth it to stand at the very top. Fabulous views. We could see Lochnagar clearly, and even Ben McDhui!!

We had brilliant weather, which didn't deteriorate until we were back at the Queen's Well.
