Peak 7482 is located in North Cascades National Park along the east boundary line. It's situated one kilometer (.6 mile) east of Rainy Peak and two miles south of Rainy Pass. Peak 7482 is the eastern culmination of the ridge running from Frisco Mountain to Rainy Peak. The south aspect of the peak has 4000 feet of vertical relief above Bridge Creek which cuts below its south and east footing. The Pacific Crest Trail also passes along the south and east footing of the peak.  

It is a one day climb from the North Cascades Highway. Leave the Pacific Crest Trail at the 4000' contour line on the topo map and ascent east up the southeast slope.
