  The peak is called Demirkapı(literaly 'Iron gate'). The photo was taken in July 2006. Ther are some more 3 thousands around and allof them are easy to access iwth lakes nearby.

  The last twin lakes of the total seven lakes in the area taken in 3000 meters. On the place where photo taken one can see the other lakes. There is only one hour left(376 m) to the peak from which you have 360 degrees scene.

  The photo was taken in June 15 in 2006 from the north camp site called Öküz Yatağı( Ox bed). The camp place is 2950 meters.surrounded by green grass and alpine flowers, wild onion can be eaten, for example. Stream coming from the glacier is drinkable.and the scene of the mountain is extremely dramatic.

  In the is Mount Demirkapı. Late July 2006 in the afternnon. A few hundred meters away from the camp area. the stream follow apath to the last village. Soft vwalk up to the camp area is only an hour from the last village called Büyük Yayla.
