Corno Grande

This is the NORTH face of the Corno Grande and Corno Piccolo of Gran Sasso group. We can see the highest (1400m) EST wall of this peak that culminates with the Oriental peak 2903m. Just on the right, over the Calderone Glacier basin, there is the Occidental peak 2914m. On the right of this image there is the monolitic rock of Corno Piccolo 2657m.

Corno Grande

This is the highest peak of central Italy. It's in the Appennines range and under its summit on the north face there is a small glacier in extinction, it is the southern glacier of Europe. The summit that we can see is the Occidental Peak of Corno Grande 2914m and on the right of this peak there is the Torrione Cambi 2875m whit great and compat rock plate to climb.
