This was taken from the Art Loeb trail just a mile or so from Shining Rock. The red bushes are huckleberry bushes. This was also taken on the 21st during the peak of the foliage season. The trail thins and it essentially becomes bush-whacking. I am not sure if this is the Art Loeb or just a footpath that reconnects with it. - Jane Bald
