Creating an account on Peakware is easy and free. Doing so will allow you to access custom features, including the ability to identify your favorite peaks, peaks you've climbed, peaks you plan to climb, and (optionally) share all this information in a public profile.

Starting in early 2009, an account is required in order to submit content to our site (including photos, summit logs, routes, and new peaks). This allows us to ensure quality and security of our site, and allows us to automatically approve new content from trusted members of our community: No more lengthy waits for human approval!
