During the spring or winter, if avalanche conditions aren't too bad, head straight up the slope on good snow, and by-pass the run around. The wind dies down for a couple hourse around 8:00p.m. and 10:00p.m. during the winter - I don't know why, but that's been my epxerience. Good for doing after work. We usually got home about 1:00a.m. the next morning. Plenty of sleep before work!
