The Hockenhorn is a small granitic peak located just east of Latschen Pass along the ridge which merges with the Petersgrat farther to the east. The west ridge is a short very popular route from Latschen Pass. There are longer more difficult routes on the south and north sides.

    We stayed over night in Kummenalp Hotel. The ascent took us 2 hours to Lotschenpass and another 2 hours to top of Hockenhorn. We used the normal route (west-ridge).
