Newberry Volcano

Newberry volcano is about 20 miles from Bend and is one of the largest volcanoes in the Cascade range. The base is about 25 miles in diameter.The highest point of the volcano is Paulina Peak. There have been numerous eruptions in the past 10,000 years, most in the caldera. The last eruption was about 1,400 years ago.
