Audubon is a calm, rounded sweeping mountain that looks out of place among the jagged, steep mountains of the Indian Peaks. Audubon does, though, have a very steep, technical backside and section of the front face. This mountain has one of the best views from the top of any mountain. The damper to the summitt's beauty is how long of a climb it is. To get to the top before enpredictable Colorado weather kicks in, you must start by 8:00 at the latest. Usually 7:00.
