Saddle Peak is a secondary objective to nearby Fairview Mountain. It can be easily added on after descending from Fairview on the way back to the trail head. It's a mere 120m/400' up from the Saddleback, reached by a popular hiking trail from Lake Louise. From the Saddleback, you can either follow an easy trail that ascends the southwest side or head straight up the west side over boulders.
The top provides views of the north face of Mt. Temple (3543m/11,621') and of Lake Annette.
